Backcountry
So much beauty in the backcountry in Stowe! Well-guarded by locals, you may need to know someone to fully enjoy all that it has to offer. Chat with Umiak about a guided tour or some helpful information.
Hiking
The Pinnacle (touristy, but worth it), Sterling Pond, Weissner Woods, Camel’s Hump
Might just be my favorite swimming hole in Stowe, lesser known that Bingham’s Falls, which is also worth a visit. Foster’s is a rocky stream with deep pools and shallow areas. Right off of the Mountain Road, on Notchbrook Road. Drive up and you’ll find it on the left. Just park on the road.
